Barry Bonds, the all-time home run leader, is one of many baseball players who are suspected of steroid use. The accusations now may be a reality. According to federal agents, the former San Fransisco Giants slugger failed a steroid test in 2001, the same year in which he broke the single-season home-run record, which was broken three years prior by Mark McGuire.
UPDATE: The date on which Bonds' failed the drug test was a typo. Barry Bonds did fail a steroids test in November of 2000, not 2001. Nevertheless, a failed steroid test is not good news for Barry Bonds period.
